What is Physical Therapy?

The treatment of physical dysfunction or injury by the use of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and the application of modalities, intended to restore or facilitate normal function or development. 

What should I wear to Physical Therapy?

Wear comfortable clothing such as a T-shirt  or sleeveless shirt and shorts or sweatpants. 

Do I need to see my Doctor before I can have Physical Therapy?

This varies widely based on your insurance plan. Please call our office for more information.

Do you accept my insurance?

We are providers for most major insurance carriers, Medicare and Workers Compensation. We also accept self pay if you are uninsured and payment plans are available.

What will I do at Physical Therapy?

Your first visit is an evaluation to identify deficits, establish the treatment goals and plan. Follow up visits may include manual /hands on treatment, supervised  therapeutic exercises  in the clinic and development of your home exercise program.

Can I request where I receive Physical Therapy?

Yes. Your Doctor may refer you to another Physical Therapy clinic, however, ultimately it is your choice who provides your Physical Therapy.
